The 2nd Annual Taste of the GFA is the Good Food Accelerator Associate Board’s annual fundraiser to support the Accelerator’s dynamic entrepreneur development programs. The event will feature delicious samples from many Good Food Accelerator (GFA) graduates and their companies.

We are excited that chefs from well-known Chicago restaurants will prepare awesome samples and drinks for the event, showcasing ingredients from the companies of our Accelerator graduates. You will also have the opportunity to meet GFA alumni companies as they demo their delicious Good Food products. The participating restaurants currently include Daisies, Le Bouchon and Osteria Langhe, and The Truffle King of Chicago will also be participating. More will be announced soon.

An awesome raffle prize is in the works, so please keep an eye on this space!

The Accelerator team would particularly like to thank the event’s presenting sponsors, Fifth Third Bank and Quarles and Brady LLP. They would also like to thank the event’s additional sponsors: Plante Moran (host of Taste of the GFA), US Foods, RelishWorks, DLA, MillerCoors, Bluestein & Associates, DSP Insurance, Hill & Stone Insurance, JPMorgan Chase, Wintrust, Cultivation Sandbox, and Winona Capital for their invaluable support, without which this event would not be possible.

About FamilyFarmed’s Good Food Accelerator

The Good Food Accelerator gets emerging Good Food consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands ready for prime time, giving them the skills to scale up. Now in its sixth year, this non-profit fellowship program for food entrepreneurs is based at 1871, Chicago’s center of innovation. Fellows are paired with industry-leading mentors and are connected to potential customers and investors. This is the nation’s first accelerator focused on building supply chains for sustainable local food.

The Accelerator helps food entrepreneurs expand the production, marketing and distribution of locally and responsibly produced food, in order to enhance the social, economic and environmental health of our communities. We provide competitively selected fellows with coaching, mentoring, strategic support, and access to resources and capital so they can thrive commercially and have a power ripple effect on the local economy, and beyond.
