Our next Morning Mingle, on Friday, October 25, features Luke Saunders, Founder & CEO, Farmer’s Fridge

Luke Saunders is Founder & CEO of Farmer’s Fridge, one of the most innovative and fast-growing Good Food companies in Chicago. At the October 25 Morning Mingle, Luke will share his journey from operating a single Fridge in 2013 to more than 350 Fridges across multiple cities today. He’ll reveal the catalyst for the business, starting with his days as a traveling salesman, and discuss the company’s growth and evolution.

Luke guides the company’s vision and provides strategic direction for the executive team and business as a whole. An entrepreneur at heart, Luke started Farmer’s Fridge while working as a traveling salesman, after struggling to find fresh, healthy and accessible food options on the road. Since 2013, the rapidly expanding business has grown across multiple regions of the country, serving chef-curated, restaurant-quality meals.

The company’s pioneering approach  has been featured in The Atlantic, Entrepreneur, Fast Company, Inc., Chicago Tribune, Crain’s Chicago Business, USA Today, NBC Nigh

tly News, Wall Street Journal, Women’s Health and O! Magazine. As a leader on the rise, Luke was honored as a Forbes “30 under 30” in 2016, a Crain’s Chicago Business “40 under 40” in 2018 and one of Fast Company’s “100 Most Creative People in Business” in 2019. Luke holds an undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
